10 Secrets You SHould Know When Watch Jurassic World

Jurassic World is one of the most popular movies of all time. The movie was so popular that it spawned a sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. But what are the top 10 secrets about Jurassic World?

Jurassic World

1. The original script for Jurassic World was actually very different from the final product. In the original script, the main character Owen Grady was supposed to be killed by the Indominus rex. However, director Colin Trevorrow thought that this would be too dark for a summer blockbuster and decided to change the ending.

2. The original concept for the Indominus rex was actually much more monstrous than what ended up on screen. The early designs for the dinosaur were inspired by creatures like the Kraken from Greek mythology and the Alien from the movie franchise of the same name.

3. Jurassic World was actually shot in Hawaii, not on an island off the coast of Costa Rica like in the movie. The majority of the filming took place on the island of Kaua’i.

4. Bryce Dallas Howard’s character, Claire Dearing, was originally written as a much colder and more unlikable person. However, Howard’s performance helped to soften her character and make her more relatable to audiences.

5. Chris Pratt’s character, Owen Grady, was also supposed to be killed off in the original script. However, like with Claire, Colin Trevorrow decided that this would be too dark for a summer blockbuster and opted to change the ending.

6. The Indominus rex wasn’t the only dangerous dinosaur in Jurassic World. In fact, there were several other dinosaurs that were even more dangerous, but they were cut from the final script.

7. The mosasaur scene was actually one of the most difficult to film in Jurassic World. The massive sea creature was created using a combination of CGI and puppetry, and it took months to get the scene just right.

8. Jurassic World wasn’t originally supposed to be a trilogy. However, after the success of the first movie, Universal Pictures decided to greenlight two more sequels.

9. Bryce Dallas Howard had to wear high heels for most of the movie, even though her character is supposed to be a scientist. Howard has said that this was one of the most challenging aspects of filming Jurassic World.

10. The ending of Jurassic World was actually supposed to be much more ambiguous. However, test audiences didn’t react well to the original ending, so it was changed to give audiences a more definitive conclusion.
